WELCOME TO CHANTILLY YOUTH FOOTBALL!!!
The Chantilly Youth Association Football Program is a non-profit organization that serves approximately 600 youths in Fairfax County ranging in ages from 7 to 16 years old. The Purpose of our organization is to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for youngsters to play youth football. Our coaches teach the sound fundamentals of football and stress teamwork, fair play and above all "Good Sportsmanship".

The CYA football program is one of the largest in Fairfax County, fielding over 30 teams each year. Our football program participates in the Fairfax County Youth Football League along with 24 other individual programs that field teams in the various weight classes from 65 through 150 pound. Our program is open to anyone in Fairfax County, ages range from 7 to 16 years old. Teams are divided up by a combination of age, weight and experience.

The Chantilly home field is Greenbriar Park, located on Stringfellow Road, right down the road from Chantilly High School. Practice fields are located in the immediate Chantilly area. Exhibition games and seven league games are played per year. For more information on our program please call 703-263-1865 or 703-378-0083.

Contributions Sought for Funding the 2010 Fall Season

We provide our players with the safest, most modern & top quality equipment available. However football requires a considerable amount of investment and time to provide for top of the line equipment each year. In addition, CYA must also pay for the use of athletic fields, referees, field maintenance and administrative fees.

Corporate and Small Business sponsors as well as individuals who believe in “Kids as Our Future” and the value of youth team sports programs are now sought. For more information on how to be a sponsor for the 2008 football season please contact 703-263-1865 or 703-378-0083.

CYA Football needs your help!

The economy continues to cause issues for many families in Chantilly.  The number of scholarship requests we receive increases every season yet we continue to be fully committed to making sure that every child who wants to play football in CYA will have that opportunity.

Now there is a way that we can all help!  CYA Football has acquired the help of Fund Us Now!  Fund Us Now provides gourmet coffee in a monthly subscription at a rate of $10.99 per 12 oz. bag (with free shipping on orders over $25).  The coffee is delicious and the best part is $3 from every bag sold will go to CYA Football!  Instead of paying retail to buy coffee at the grocery store or coffee shop, you can get CYA Football program and if we can just sell 1000 bags per month, that’s $36,000 per year to help with scholarships, equipment costs, field maintenance and many other projects that make CYA Football a safe and fun activity for our community.  Just think, if every family in CYA Football committed to 2 bags per month, that would amount to roughly 6000+ bags of coffee per month.  And this doesn’t even account for extended family and friends!

Please help by signing up for a bag (or a few bags!) today!  The direct link to the CYA Store on the Fund Us Now site is www.fundusnow.com/chantillyyouth20151.  To sign up, simply enter your email address and set up a password.  Once you are in the CYA Store, you will select your coffee and then click on the button that says "Football".  The CYA Soccer program is participating in this fundraiser as well so if you have kids in soccer, feel free to support that sport as well!

Please pass this link on to all of your family and friends around the United States.  The more we sell, the more we earn for the club.  This is the easiest fundraiser we have ever used and with all of our help, will prove to be the most lucrative!  The best part of all is it requires almost no volunteer labor!

Thanks for supporting CYA Football!

Inclement Weather Policy

1) If there is bad weather and a coach or team administrator does not email you, or call you…assume practice is on. Remember we are all volunteers and often are leaving straight from work to the fields.

2) Sometimes, practice start times will be delayed due to weather. If it is storming and a delay is called, we will wait until 6:30 to see if bad weather clears before sending kids home. If you are on your way to practice and it begins to storm, we recommend that you still go to the field. There is a chance the storm has already passed through that area.

3) When in doubt use common sense, lightening and monsoon type rains will usually cancel practice.

4) If lightening occurs after practice starts, leave field immediately, practice is delayed until 15 minutes after last lightening strike or cancellation by the head coach. DO NOT assume practice is over if the coaches send kids to the car for cover.
