Junior Division Soccer (U8-U10)

CYA’s junior recreational division is structured for children in 2nd thru 4th grades (U8-U10). We were the first in the area to begin small-sided play, as recommened by United States Youth Soccer (USYS) and the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA). The merits of small-sided play in the development of young players has become nearly universally accepted, and promoted, worldwide. The additional number of "touches" by each player afforded by the small-sided format cannot be denied.

Volunteer Coaches

We are always on the lookout for additional volunteer recreational soccer coaches and strongly encourage you to give it a try! Small sided games means that there are more teams. The time you spend teaching young children is fulfilling and a great way to enjoy the terrific spring weather in Chantilly!

Please note that all soccer volunteers must successfully pass a mandatory background check and then be approved by both the Age Group Coordinator and the Soccer Chairman. This is done for the safety of our children and to protect the integrity of our club.
