We are so excited to be offering volleyball for boys and girls in grades 2-12 again. Our Spring 2021 season was a HUGE success and we are poised to build the program with additional exciting features this fall!
WE NEED COACHES!! The success of our program depends on volunteer coaches. If you would like to coach, please register as a volunteer at this link: https://www.chantillyyouth.org/registration and/or contact April Day at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.

EXCITING NEWS FOR CYA VOLLEYBALL!
Through careful analysis over the past couple of years, we have determined that it is time to make some changes to our program in order to accommodate future growth. As part of the CYA 50th Anniversary Celebration, CYA Volleyball is being Re-Branded and Overhauled!
In order to make this process a success, we need your help! We are reaching out to all of our volleyball families and asking for help in establishing the new CYA Volleyball Management structure.
Initially, we need to establish an operating committee. Next, we will need to identify coaches for both recreational and eventually club level teams. Our Spring 2021 season was a huge success and we are looking forward to an even better Fall 2021 season!
Our goal is to establish and develop a program that allows players to grow and compete at various levels suitable for individual skill ability. The CYA Fieldhouse provides a year round home for CYA Volleyball and will give us a place to hold camps and clinics during the off season.
If you are interested in growing with us, please reach out to April Day at Volleyball@ChantillyYouth.org. April has offered to take on the administrative role in an effort to gather information and put together Zoom Meetings over the coming weeks as the process moves forward.
Get ready CYA! This is going to be a rewarding year for us and when it’s done, the foundation for our future will be in place. How exciting is that!?

CYA Volleyball Families,
We were so excited that even though we had to change our program a bit due to Covid 19, the Spring 2021 season went off with very few hitches and we are all looking forward to an awesome Fall season! At this time, we are planning to start practices during the week of September 6th. Games will likely start on September 11th. We will be able to confirm once we receive our gym allocations from the county.
All teams will have one practice during the week. Individual coaches will notify their teams which day and time they will practice. Practice days and times are determided by how many coaches and players are registered, as well as our FCPS gym assignments. We typically do not know exact practice days/times until right before the season begins. During registration, please feel free to note any days you are not available. While we try to accommodate all requests, sometimes it is not possible. Coaches will notify players of practice days/times after player assessments.
Jerseys are provided and will be distributed by the coaches prior to the first games.
TBA. Games should almost always be on Saturdays. Coaches will distribute the schedule shortly after teams have been formed.
Registration is open now!
This season, we are planning to offer volleyball for boys and girls in grades 2 - high school. Our program is usually co-ed for players in grades 2-6. It is very important that you register as soon as possible so we can plan a successful and competitive Fall 2021 season! Player assessments are tentatively scheduled for August 28th, August 31st and September 2nd. More details to come!
We will update our Covid 19 protocals closer to the start of the season, as needed and according to CDC, state, local and FCPS restrictions/regulations. At this time, masks are not required for anyone engaged in physical activity. All others must wear masks. As far as spectators at games are concerned, we will have to go by whatever FCPS allows this Fall. Spectators are never allowed at assessments or practices.
